Natural Child Photo Tips #3
You Get To Be A Spy
The face of your child. Is there anything more beautiful? I think not - but, their tushies are pretty cute too! Some of my very favorite shots are taken from behind children. Walking away, hand in hand with Daddy, or bravely exploring a few yards off from Mommy. It just gives a whole new perspective. They're little people in the big world, separate from you momentarily, and you're sort of spying from the lens of the camera.
To capture it, either just let go of your child's hand and have your camera ready (be sure to get a lot of the background in the shot, to show how small they are), or go ahead and ask the big sister to walk with her little brother through the garden, searching for butterflies. She will feel very important and you will get your shot. Just don't tell them you NEED them to do it so you can take a picture. Be cool.

Stay open to whatever unexpected gifts the day throws you.
Holiday Card Update
This year you will have the option of ordering 4x6 prints of your favorite shot for holiday cards - or getting a disk with the shot on it to use as you wish. The disk is available for $50. Be sure to book your photo sessions no later than November 1 to assure that you're in time for the holidays.
Feel free to email with any photo questions!
Warmest wishes and happy clicking,
Kelly
